It is with great pleasure I write this letter. When we decided to sell our home we knew we had some homework to do, so we called up 6 real estate agents in our area from Glenwood to Castle Hill and explained what our situation was and would they be interested in coming and having a chat with us on how they do their business and if anything, what we had to do to improve our chances of getting a maximum sale price for our home. And so the process began, but after talking to 5 agents we still weren't quite sure if we were satisfied with any. Our last agent to come and see us was Craig Alexis from Gilmour Real Estate Castle Hill. From the moment we met Craig we had that feeling he was someone we could trust with the sale of our home, he was honest with us from the start, easy to talk with and he listened with great interest with what we had to say and what we wanted with the sale. Asking questions and giving some great advice. When Craig left that day we told him we would let him know either way and thanked him for his time...the next day we decided that Craig was our man for the job. We spoke again and set aside dates to suit for our first open home, everything seemed to be going according to plan and the open home was a great success! Knowing Craig had a huge data base of clients and knowing what they required made us feel secure in that he would be able to sell our home. Eight contracts handed out on the day and a few good offers as well. Craig told us not to worry about another open home as in his opinion it wouldn't be need, and he was certainly right. After some phone calls and quite a bit of bidding from potential buyers he rang with the wonderful news on Monday evening of the price that was the highest bidder and it was a record for a single story home in Glenwood! It goes without saying Craig Alexis did a fantastic job for us and we would have no hesitation in recommending Craig as his professionalism was outstanding and his quality of service excelled! My family and I had the pleasure of dealing with Craig Alexis from Gilmour Property Agents during the buying and selling of our home in December 2013. For the past 24 plus years my wife and I have been fortunate enough to have used the services of realtor Craig Alexis. We first met Craig in 1990 after we had been given the run around by several agents in the area, whom we had discovered would not listen to our requirements and showed us inappropriate homes, that were nothing like we had requested. We had become totally disenchanted with the entire process. While driving through the hills area one morning I noticed a for sale sign on a house that looked interesting so we called the number on the sign later that day and Craig took the call.We explained what we were looking for and that we had wasted several weeks with other agents showing us many houses, none of which were brick or on a quiet street as we had requested. After a lengthy conversation Craig said "Leave it with me for a day or so I will check around and call you back." Wow, haven't we come full circle. After 21years at John St, we finally made the decision to move on for a tree/sea change. I remember only too well 21years ago buying our home from you.
